On several occasions I’ve had applicants literally tell me please go to my Myspace page to see my photo’s.

It is said God (the universe) doesn’t give you more than you can handle. Well, if this concept has any truth to it then this week I’m getting off easy. It’s been a challenging week around here with a plethora of mishaps and

misadventures. One such adventure calumniating in the intersection of an automobile, AAA, tow truck and a body shop. For those of you who we had to cancel appointments we apologize, however as you all know e-coli happens.

One of the philosophical awareness’s I often talk about in training is the simple fact we at Dreams / Fantasys regard ourselves as merely a stepping-stone for our associates. As many spiritual texts like to point out, those who work to lift up others will in turn be lifted. Granted not everyone you work to lift up will reciprocate, but think of it as throwing a rock into pond. In life you can choose to either create positive ripples or negative ripples. Either way, eventually those ripples have an effect on the people, events and souls around us. In time what we put out there comes back to us in many ways, when it does we may not directly see the correlations to previous events. When I was younger I didn’t really grasp the concept “we are all connected” however as I grow older I begin to see the patterns in what appears to others as universal chaos. There’s been a lot of talk about the economy on various boards and let’s be honest we’re all effected either directly or indirectly. Unlike others, Dreams is meeting my expectations in growth and where the Dreams vision is going. While others are failing, we continue to find and hire the finest women in the area. Believe me I work hard at it. I have one woman who is a lovely Persian / East Indian mix whom we’re currently waiting to see if she’ll allow us to corrupt her and “join the dark side of the force”. She currently is a waitress in this family restaurant I go to on occasion. I just know in my gut she’d make a good escort and one of my associates agrees with me. Lately, I’ve experienced and up tick in the number of employment applications from independents and other agency girls. I’m flattered but the truth is I don’t hire experienced people as a rule. Why? Simple. As you Dreams VIP’s know, there is no other agency that operates like us in this area or comes close to our operational standards. We train our women well, they are trust worthy and they deliver. Am I bragging? Yes!! The problem with experienced people is more often than not they bring with them their unprofessionalism, bad habits, and negative belief systems. Are there exceptions to my experiences? Yes there are, I hire them, as long as they have less than 30 days in the business. I attribute our continued growth in these times to the simple fact that we’re committed to delivering a quality product to the market. No matter what the status of the economy is, if your customers know you will take care of them and meet their needs you will prosper. So far this operational philosophy is working when other agencies are closing their doors.
