Monday is a holiday so we’ll be kick’en back sharing time with our families and remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the liberties so many of us take for granted. We are the probably the greatest nation ever created in human history to date. With all the problems we have I want to take a moment and highlight the good things we are as a nation.
Where else can you take and idea present it to the free market system and become a millionaire in a few short years? How many other countries can you on a whim drive to another state without having to show your “identification papers”? In America we have choices few others do. You can choose to vote or abdicate your responsibility as citizen and not vote. Then freedom of speech gives you the right to turn around and bitch and moan about how you don’t like what our elected official are doing. When you go into the grocery store, we have more varieties of items to choose from than anywhere else on earth. In most states a citizen can legally buy a handgun, whereas you can’t do that in most western countries. In this great land of ours you have the right to self-determination to make of yourself what you will. The fact you may have grown up in a trailer park, the ghetto or an orphanage will not prevent you from being President of a company or the United States.
